Bombardier Kicks Off the New Year by Increasing Support for Customers

Bombardier Aerospace announced today that it will offer additional on-site technical support for Bombardier’s business aircraft operators attending the 57th U.S. Presidential Inauguration in Washington, DC and the 47th NFL Super Bowl celebrations in New Orleans, Louisiana.

From Friday, January 18 to Monday, January 21, Bombardier will have two field service representatives (FSR) and a Mobile Response Party (MRP) stationed at Landmark Aviation at Dulles International Airport in Virginia for the Presidential Inauguration of U.S. President Barack Obama. The two FSRs and the MRP are equipped to provide on-site support to customers based at Dulles International Airport, Washington National (KDCA), Manassas Regional (KHEF), Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (KBWI) and any airfields within a 60 mile radius of Dulles, VA.

In addition to the support for the Inauguration, an FSR and a MRP with two technicians will be on standby at Landmark Aviation at Lakefront Airport (KNEW) in New Orleans to provide technical support services for Learjet, Challenger and Global aircraft operators throughout the length of the Super Bowl festivities. The FSR and MRP will also be able to support customers located at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (KMSY) and any airfields within a 60 mile radius of New Orleans. Parts Services representatives will be able to accommodate customers with access to spare parts inventory located at Bombardier’s Chicago parts hub.

We want our customers to know that we are ready for them when needed year-over-year.”

Bombardier has a long history of providing on-site service and support to its customers at events around the world. The company has offered customers extensive support at the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London, the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa, the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver, the Inauguration of U.S. President Barack Obama in 2009 and the 2008 Summer Olympic Games in Beijing.

Furthering support at events in countries around the world

In 2013, the U.S. Presidential Inauguration and NFL Super Bowl are only two of many celebrations where the Bombardier Customer Services team will be on hand to facilitate access to the company’s support services.

This year, Bombardier’s Customer Services team will also be ready for other major events such as the Rio de Janeiro Carnival (February 8 – 12), Daytona 500 (February 24), Kentucky Derby (May 4), Formula One Grand Prix in Monaco (May 24-26), Formula One Grand Prix in Montréal (June 7-9), FIFA Confederations Cup Tournament Celebrations in Brazil (June 15-30), Abu Dhabi Formula One Grand Prix (November 1-4) with more to come.
