Delta Offers Customers Ability to Make Travel Changes Ahead of Winter Nor’easter

Delta Air Lines Inc. is offering customers whose flight plans may be affected by winter weather expected Friday across the U.S. Northeast, Ottawa and Montreal the ability to make one-time changes to their travel schedules without fees. Delta is closely monitoring conditions along the storm’s forecast path and encourages customers to consider moving up, postponing or re-routing their travel to avoid possible inconvenience from expected flight delays.

Customers booked on Delta-ticketed flights to, from or through the following cities between Feb. 8 and 9 may immediately rebook for travel before or after their original travel dates as long as new flights are ticketed and rescheduled with travel beginning by Feb. 12, 2013.

Flight delays are expected at the above airports as a result of the winter weather and Delta may proactively reduce flight schedules to minimize delays. Customers can visit delta.com or use the Fly Delta mobile app to make changes and manage their travel itinerary.
