JetBlue Airways names Ellen Jewett to its board of directors

JetBlue Airways Corp. today announces the appointment of Ellen Jewett, Managing Director for BMO Capital Markets, to its Board of Directors.

Ms. Jewett has more than 20 years of experience in the field of Airport infrastructure financing, including five years as head of Airport s and public sector transportation group at Goldman Sachs.

“Ellen knows the world of aviation finance and infrastructure, and she will add tremendous value to JetBlue as a member of our Board,” said Joel Peterson, chairman of JetBlue’s Board of Directors. “We welcome Ellen to the team and know she will contribute her expertise to the long-term strategy to make JetBlue the Americas’ favorite airline.”

Ms. Jewett has led public-private partnerships as well as innovative project financings over the course of her career, including serving as senior managing underwriter for over $25 billion municipal revenue bond issues including numerous U.S. Airport and multi-purpose Airport /seaport.
