refund.me, the international service provider which helps passengers claim their right to compensation for flight delays, cancellations, missed connections and diversions, has been awarded the Top Sabre Red Appy by Sabre Travel Network. refund.me was one of eight pre-selected finalists for the award and was ultimately chosen by Sabre, the global travel technology system, for its business concept and application that makes it easier for agents and travellers to claim compensations for flights eligible under EU Regulation EC 261/04.

The top Sabre Red Appy has been awarded to refund.me for its technical innovation, business value and practical use for Sabre travel agents and their clients. While passengers and travel agents are often not aware of existing EU regulations or simply avoid the complicated bureaucratic process required to claim their right to compensation, refund.me has simplified the process through its cloud-based and largely automated procedures. Automatic monitoring of all bookings will ensure that no eligible flight is missed and compensation claims are filed. Compensation is only a few clicks away.
In addition to its mobile app and online platform to help the general public, refund.me is monitoring reservations made by Sabre travel agents. The refund.me application automatically notifies travel agents and tour operators if a flight they have reserved is likely eligible for compensation.

This award is an important honour for refund.me, which in only nine months has already successfully claimed compensations for more than a thousand passengers from 116 airlines in 43 countries from 5 continents.
